Podcast with Walter Veit on Synthetic Philosophy and Meta-philosophy
Right now, I am in Indianapolis at Wabash College for a conference in honor of Sam Fleischacker, the distinguished Adam Smith scholar, who was an external reader of my dissertation back in the day. Tomorrow I am heading to Kingston, ON, for a panel on Campus Protests hosted by the philosophy department at Queen’s University. So, it’s going to be a week of light blogging.
However, earlier today Walter Veit published an episode of his podcast in which we talk about synthetic philosophy and meta-philosophy on his podcast. It’s a rare case where my podcast host clearly knows more about the topic on which he is interviewing me. So, I learned a lot during our discussion. We also discuss trends in contemporary philosophy of science and the sociology of philosophy or ‘metaphilosophy.’
