Richard Pettigrew (Bristol) wrote a lovely tribute (here) to Helen de Cruz (1978-2025) in which he tried to capture the distinctiveness (and I would say integrity) of Helen’s academic persona. In addition, Pettigrew invites us all to re-read Helen by calling attention to one of his “favourite papers that
